Young Sunday School has been back meeting face-to-face since June 2021. It’s for all primary school aged children and meets from 9.50am in the Kemble Hall. Parents must then attend the 10am Mass at St Mary’s and the children will be brought to you in Church at the end of Sunday School. There’s no charge for Sunday School.
Permission forms need to be completed. There are paper copies available with the teachers and these can be found online here.
Sunday School Leaders and Assistants needed
Our Sunday schools need your help. Do you think you can offer one Sunday a morning a month to teach children to know God? We need enthusiastic volunteers who would be willing to teach the children in our congregation and open their minds to the wonder that is the Bible. All you need is enthusiasm, a little bit of preparation for class and to be DBS checked. Our youth ministry is thriving and will continue to blossom if you help it.
We are also looking for people who are willing to assist with the teaching of Sunday school. You do not need teaching experience as your primary role would be to help the teacher with the class. You would only need to be available one Sunday per month and to be DBS checked. To find out more, speak to Fr Morris.
