Who can join?
The Church Council is composed of representatives from the congregations of both Churches. You are eligible to stand on the PCC if you are:
- over 16 years old
- on the electoral roll of the parish
- a communicant member of the Church
There are fifteen people elected in this way to serve on the Council. Elections happen at the Annual Parochial Church Council.
Other people are automatically on the Church Council:
- the Churchwardens
- our three representatives to the Deanery Synod (the Deanery being the local group of thirteen parishes in East Haringey).
Meetings
Meetings normally happen at 8pm on Mondays or Thursdays in the Vicarage. We always aim to complete business by 9.30pm.
People can raise matters concerning Parish life. Fr Morris chairs the meetings, Angela Robinson is the Vice-Chair and Juliet Yarney is the PCC Secretary.
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting
This meeting is the Annual General Meeting of the Parish. The accounts are presented; reports given; there is the opportunity for questions; the elections of churchwardens and PCC members are carried out.
Absolutely everyone is welcome to attend the AGM.
